Multi Currency in CS-Cart Multi-Vendor Marketplace

CS-Cart Multi-Vendor marketplace platform https://www.cs-cart.com/multi-vendor-personal-demo.html is an international shopping software so it supports 26 languages including right-to-left, and multiple currencies. You can also set taxes according to the laws of a customer’s country. All the languages are available for both admin panel and storefront. You can set up languages and add more in Administration - Languages - Manage languages. Set up currencies in Administration - Currencies. Multiple currencies are used for displaying prices on the storefront. All the calculations are processed in one currency only—the primary currency. But if your payment gateway can accept payments in multiple currencies, then customers can be charged in an alternative, not primary currency. Check out the currency settings. The main property here is Rate. Enter here the exchange rate to convert store prices and costs from the primary currency to this currency. For example, in this demo the primary currency is the American dollar, and the values in the Rate field of other currencies define, how many dollars there are in one Euro and in one British pound. To set taxes for different countries, you need to create locations first. That way you will be able to specify different tax rates for customers from different countries and regions. When you’re done with locations, go to Administration - Shipping and taxes - Taxes. To add a new tax, click the Plus button. Let’s take a look at the existing tax settings so that you get the idea how to set everything up. Fill the tax properties on the General tab and switch to the Tax rates tab. The magic happens here. Choose the type of rates—an absolute value or a percentage. Then enter here the tax rate value. Once you’ve done this, click save. You can apply taxes to all the products, to specific products, and to shipping methods.
