New Twigmo Plans & Pricing and Upcoming Version 3 Release

Today, we would like to introduce to you the new Twigmo plans & pricing as well as the upcoming Twigmo 3 release.

Twigmo 3 will be based on a new framework (AngularJS) for better performance and faster development in the long run. Also, it will include a powerful visual editor (available on selected plans only) that will allow you to customize the mobile store look’n’feel easily and quickly so that it matches your desktop store design.

Together with the Twigmo 3 release this December in January 2014, the new plans & pricing will come into effect. The main point is that all Twigmo plans will no longer be product quantity dependent and will differ only in features. The new Starter free plan will be limited to one default skin and a mobile product catalog without checkout. The visual editor and all skins (up to 10 soon) will be available in the plan Plus and above. In 2014, we will offer the option (see the plan Platinum below) to have your own store application for iOS and Android.

Twigmo 3 Plans & Pricing

The new plans will be applicable to all Twigmo 3 users while Twigmo 2 service will be shut down after January 10 30, 2014. We ask all Twigmo users to upgrade to version 3 after it is released in December January 2014. A release notification will be sent by email, via the CS-Cart admin panel and published in this blog.

The paid plan users will be switched to the plan Plus at no additional charge.

Feel free to ask any questions below in the comments.

Thank you for using Twigmo!

What does “without checkout” actually mean? Can a customer buy products from the free edition?

      Hello Jan,

The mobile checkout is missing in the free version. It means that the Add to Cart button will be replaced with the link “Buy this via the desktop site” that will take a customer to the desktop site to complete his purchase.

I take “without checkout” as being without the option to place an order.

I know $9/mo isn’t a lot, but if I’m paying for a service I expect a little more (above the features of the free version) than just the ability to have customers place orders.

      Hello Jim,

Yes, there is no ability to place a product to the cart in the free version.

At $9/month, you will receive a mobile version of your online store that will work for improving your conversion rates on mobile devices. This plan also includes an iPhone application for viewing your orders, managing your customers and products. I hope you will agree, it is worth $9/month.

Love to see this :) but i would be take Platinum version if price same as plus version due cost high maintenance for small store, hope team can consideration about this matter. How about if my site have a lot of modifications, are twigmo gonna support it?

Hello, thank you for your feedback.

Unfortunately, if your site has modifications on such pages as product details, checkout, etc, Twigmo will not support them, because Twigmo only retrieves data from your CS-Cart database and it does not ‘know’ about your functionality or design changes.

Dear Alex, I like the mobile version generated by twigmo. It is more convenient and it should be faster. My cart has many customizations (products details and checkout pages), so it will not work with this new version. If I ask you for this modification on a paid basis, do you will do it?

        • December 24, 2013 at 12:00

Dear Gabriel, unfortunately, we will be unable to customize a Twigmo-based mobile version for you even on a paid basis. Twigmo is a cloud-based service, so all its users use the same single core, no customizations are possible at this moment. I apologize for possible inconvenience.

Its better we will wait for responsive template for the site.

This way we dont want to pay an extra for our stores. I dont know why cs cart is not concentrating on it at top. Mostly all software package have responsive design and still cs cart is not releasing out.

It uses bootstrap frame way which is purely responsive frame work.
Hope cs cart is not holding it back because of this twigmo.

Hello rav. A responsive design and the mobile version generated by Twigmo have many differences as well as each way has its own advantages and disadvantages. Twigmo Front-End web application is specially designed for mobile devices – it is more convenient and it is faster. You do not have to download the whole desktop web page (that you have to do when you use a responsive design) that is critical when you use mobile internet, etc.

that’s true. I agree with you. this point is valued if only if cs cart gives out responsive base template along with the package.

I have been proving cs cart for nearly 28 of my clients. I am with cs cart for nearly long time. 90% of my clients are requesting us to turn the site to mobile friendly and it increases our pain of doing them. this is mobile era there is nearly 58% of traffic are from mobile devices and sad part is cs cart still not launching out responsive template which is now available even with start up script packages.

Old customers are not happy in paying extra for mobile app stuff. so we can at least make them happy with responsive design and justify them showing that still there mobile traffic can do purchase and browse in tablet or mobile phones.

Hope you guys open my the ear for old user community voice. Here nothing destructive words are put it its all a user suggestion. We use them and we develop to others so we know what is drawback to its peak.

Hello rav. CS-Cart will have a responsive skin and it was officially added to our roadmap some time ago. I am not sure if it makes your old clients happy because they will have to upgrade their CS-Carts to the latest version (in which this responsive skin will be included) and change the design of this new skin from the beginning.

    Agree with rav :)
