  • The Euro and British pound are now supported by the Amazon Checkout payment method
  • New product block filling added—On sale (all products with active discounts)
  • New storefront theme preset—Reddish

With an active upgrade subscription, you can upgrade from CS-Cart 4.0.2 or Multi-Vendor 4.0.2 via the Upgrade Center in your store admin panel. You can also download the distribution package from your Help Desk account’s File Area.

Please note that to avoid server overload, we will be limiting the number of upgrade package downloads within the first few days. All CS-Cart and Multi-Vendor store owners should have their 4.0.3 upgrades available in the Upgrade Center within the next several days.

    Hi Denis,

I have a few questions. Not sure if they are implemented already, so please do inform.

    1) Why haven’t you implemented a random feature?

When I’m using the block, I can sort by new, recently viewed, etc…

However, why can’t I sort by randomizing?

So far instance, my hot deals I would like to randomize the deals
instead of showing the same item that is new, recently viewed, etc does.

This is useful for new websites or sites without much traffic or data to supplement the existing sorting features like new, recently viewed, etc. We need a simple random function. Can it be done?

    2) Why can’t I show new product arrivals as a category?
It’s been years, since Cscart hasn’t implement a common and basic features that comes with a lot of carts.

    3) Show related product in similar categories automatically.

Lastly, more templates, and email management integration with (mailchimp, getresponse, aweber, icontact, etc…) They have the server that guarantees email delivery and helps you manage newsletters much better than a selfhosted one like cscart.

      Hello, John.
I’ll try to reply to your questions.

      1) There’s a ″No sorting″ option, which is, obviously, the absence of sorting. We don’t really think the ″Random″ sorting is that significant. Besides, it can put unnecessary weight on SQL.

      2) That’s a rather strange question. We have the ″Newest products″ block specially for that. Can you be more specific?

      3) This one seems complicated at the moment. To implement this feature, we have to go deeper and understand on what basis we should make them show automatically. If you have any thoughts or suggestions, feel free to share, we would appreciate your concern.

      Thank you.
