The story of Fork to Fork began in 2011, when Alice Percy (CEO and Co‐Founder) and Natalia Urosevic sat down to brainstorm project ideas for Sprout Tasmania. They found the idea to open an online farmer marketplace quite promising. Over the next 3 years they made a research of consumer and farmer needs, raised funds on Pozible, gathered a team, and launched Fork to Fork.
The Fork to Fork team works closely with Tasmanian food producers. Their goal is to increase the number of small producers in Tasmania, motivate them to collaborate and share, help them implement innovative technologies, organize
There are 22 volunteers who work together with CEO Alice Percy and General Manager Jennifer Robinson to manage Fork to Fork. All of them are passionate about connecting Tasmanian producers with consumers and ensuring they have access to ethically grown great tasting food.
