South Islands Aquatic Stewardship Society Will Launch a Marketplace on CS-Cart to Raise Funds
Within our support campaign for nonprofits, we issued a free license of our marketplace solution CS-Cart Multi-Vendor to South Islands Aquatic Stewardship Society (SIASS). They’re starting an online marketplace to allow their members to upload their projects on the website themselves and to raise funds by selling merchandise and other online sales activities.

James Hamly, the president of SIASS:
South Islands Aquatic Stewardship Society located in British Columbia, Canada. We are an advocacy agency for aquatic habitat in BC’s west coast and we are membership-based.
Our site lacks the capacity for members to upload their projects themselves. This is a major concern as some of the groups don’t have their own sites. With a CS-Cart marketplace, members would be able to upload their group activities themselves. This would be a game-changer for us and possibly even allow us to expand to a larger geographic region. The other reason is that CS-Cart would allow us the ability to raise funds by selling merchandise and other online sales activities.

SIASS is a grassroots, community-based, registered non-profit society set up, in part, to facilitate communication and planning among local individuals, organizations, and government agencies involved in fisheries-related work in the region of Southern Vancouver Island and adjacent marine areas.
