Meet CS-Cart and Multi-Vendor 4.10.2 with Improvements and Bug Fixes
We have released CS-Cart and Multi-Vendor 4.10.2. Patch versions (such as 4.10.2, 4.10.3, and so on) usually focus on fixing bugs. We have listed all the changes in version 4.10.2 separately. In this article we’ll cover only a couple of changes that make the upgrade worth it.
The requirement for an international phone number can be disabled. CS-Cart 4.10.1 helped customers enter correct phone numbers: with country codes and without unnecessary symbols or spaces. This is useful when you integrate CS-Cart with a 3rd-party CRM or call customers by clicking their phone number.
However, not everyone wants customers to enter phone numbers in international format. That’s why we added a new setting called Supported phone numbers to Settings → Appearance. It lets you decide what values the phone number field will accept.
Important bug fixes:
- Variation group will no longer get disbanded after import if the column or node with variation group code isn’t in the imported file.
- Google reCaptcha no longer gives the “Please confirm you’re not a robot” error before customer uses the “Place order” button.
- When the country selection doesn’t appear at checkout (for example, if you sell only in one country and removed that field), the value of the “State” field selected by a customer will no longer be reset right after selection.
The upgrades to version 4.10.2 are already available. As usual, for the first few days after the release, we offer a limited number of upgrade downloads on a first-come-first-serve basis. If you don’t see anything in the Upgrade Center yet, try again a few hours later or the next day.
