It’s Now Easier to Manage Your CS-Cart Store: Admin Panel Updates Overview

Following our survey conducted in 2024, we identified key issues CS-Cart users might have. It appears that business owners value time the most. They want to quickly launch online stores instead of diving into the technical side of the product.

As part of the ongoing simplification of our products and services, we have improved the CS-Cart admin panel to make it simpler and more intuitive, ensuring a faster start and short time-to-market alongside smooth onboarding. This is crucial as competition in the eCommerce field grows fiercer.

Here’s what we’ve improved.

Simplified Navigation

Managing your store and marketplace is now easier. We’ve moved the sections and menu items to the left sidebar to make navigation more intuitive, similar to most modern SaaS products.

The Settings menu moved to the bottom left corner, with all the tools needed inside. Previously, users had to browse across multiple sections to manage general settings.

Users now have an intuitive and simple admin panel with all baseline elements in their places.

Added the Dark Theme

The latest CS-Cart version 4.18.2 has the dark theme, available in both the admin and vendor panels. To switch between themes, go to the User Profile Settings in the top right corner.

The admin panel automatically adapts its theme to match your device’s current system theme.

The dark theme reduces eye strain and provides visual comfort. You can switch back to the light theme at any time.

Customized Vendor Panel Branding

From now on, admins can replace the default CS-Cart logo in the vendor panel with the marketplace brand logo. This way, marketplace owners can style the vendor panel to match the marketplace brand. It is possible to upload a separate logo for the dark theme.

Moved Design Tools to the Main Menu

For user convenience, we moved the “Themes” section from the old “Design” menu to the main “Website” menu.

Here, you can edit the store design and layout for each page, upload a custom logo, change theme colors, backgrounds, and fonts, edit content and navigation layouts, and upload and save new themes.

Use the preview feature to see what the store looks like on desktops, smartphones, and tablets.

We placed all design and theme editing tools in one place, under the “Website” section for fast and easy access.

Increased Admin Panel Loading Speed

The admin panel now performs 1.5X faster, thanks to the Lazy Loading feature. Managing your store is quicker, with visual elements starting loading as you scroll down.

We also enhanced the mobile version of the admin panel. With many items, sections, and buttons on the site, the system automatically groups them into a dropdown menu, saving space on the mobile screen.

The website runs faster providing more screen space to manage stores from smartphones, tablets, and laptops.

All CS-Cart users with an active update subscription may access the improved admin panel and try new features in real time. If you have an expired subscription, renew it to access all features. Besides, you will get an extra discount when renewing your upgrade subscription before the current subscription ends.
