The new Multi-Vendor version has all the new features of CS-Cart 4.6.1, plus one killer feature for vendors.
Vendors can now use the Theme and Layout editors to change the look and feel of their micro-stores!
Theme Editing
A Multi-Vendor-based marketplace can have hundreds of vendors. Each vendor showcases his or her products in both the common storefront and the personal micro-store. Just like on eBay.
Now imagine that all the 300 vendors registered on your marketplace have micro-stores that look exactly the same. Same colors, same fonts, same background. Boring.
And what if your marketplace theme is in black and red colors, and one of your vendors sells baby care products? A pink or white color would suit such kind of a micro-store better. But the vendor couldn’t change the theme colors.
That how it was before.
Now things change. In Multi-Vendor 4.6.1, vendors can edit the storefront theme via the built-in Theme editor. Vendors can make their micro-stores look unique and create a theme style that suits their business best.

Layout Editing
A flexible layout editor is one of the major, selling features of CS-Cart and Multi-Vendor. By using the layout editor, an online store owner arranges blocks on the storefront by simple drag and drop.
You can easily move product filters to the right, add a menu to the top, show bestsellers here, move banners there. Do all this in a convenient visual layout editor right in the admin panel. No need to hire a programmer for that.
In earlier Multi-Vendor versions, a marketplace admin defined the layout of vendor stores. And yeah, just like a theme style, page layouts were the same in all the vendor stores.
In Multi-Vendor 4.6.1, your vendors can build the layout of their micro-stores themselves.

How to Get Multi-Vendor 4.6.1
Multi-Vendor 4.6.1 is out now. As always, we distribute upgrade packages in batches during the first post-release week. Then, we’ll open the valve to the full. So, if you don’t see the available upgrade in Administration → Upgrade center, check for it later.
If your upgrade subscription is expired, you won’t be able to get Multi-Vendor 4.6.1 with all this new functionality. In this case, please extend your upgrade subscription. Once you re-activate it, check for the upgrade.
If you’re about to open your first online mall on Multi-Vendor, download the installation package and get the license.
